Meet Our Staff

Caroline Kroe, LSW

Caroline holds a Master's degree in Social Work from Smith College School for Social Work, in Northampton MA. Focusing on children, adolescents, and their families, her expertise is on helping children who have been adopted and those who are in foster care heal from early traumatic experiences. At the Center, Caroline also leads DBT groups for adults and a socialization group for latency age children. Aside from her work with the Center, Caroline is on the contingency staff at Children's Memorial Hospital.

Caroline is proud to be part of CCC and uses the Collaborative Stage Model in recognition of how inextricably people are linked to their environments. She recognizes the importance of internal motivation coupled with contextual support when people are engaged in the process of healing and growing.

"It is an honor to witness such resilience in each of my clients, and a privileged to learn from their courage to make change as each embarks on a unique healing process." — Caroline Kroe
